A US Navy veteran, Peter is a founding member of O’Brien’s Boru. Also an accomplished vocalist, Peter has performed with former Billy Joel guitarist David Brown, members of Herb Reed and the Platters, Bobby Hebb, and currently performs with several bands in the Northshore area of Massachusetts.

Mike joined O’Brien’s Boru over 20 years ago, and his incredible versatility enables the band to continue to expand its set list. Just a few of Mike’s accomplishments include performing with David Brown, World Premier, and Groove Therapy.
Al Rice
5-string bass, 6-string guitar, vocals
Accomplished on both six-string and bass guitar, Al has been laying down the foundation on bass for O'Brien's Boru for the past 23 years. He began his musical journey at age 10, was fortunate to have some great teachers, and soon joined the neighborhood band. By age 14, he was regularly gigging in the local area. His love of all types of music and active participation in the local music scene continues to this day. For Al, it is all about the live performance and tasteful interaction with the other members.
Al also contributes his back-up vocals to help round out the sound of the band.
